About the author
- Diana Bell Brooks -
I live in a century-old home in the rural city of Orange, in the eye line of Mt Canoblas, with my Siamese cat, Sappho, and best friend, rural researcher Michael George. I have a daughter Daphne, son-in-law Sam and three grandchildren who live on a small farm in the region.
After moving to the Central West in my late thirties, I developed a passionate interest in writing poetry, relishing the crystalline puzzle poetry can involve. When I'm able, I visit the Wilderness National Parks in NSW with "The Wilderists", a group of artists and photographers who also seek inspiration in nature and the wild.
My interests include piano, walking and good movies.
